Easter holds significant importance in the Christian church, and as such we like to celebrate—for Easter 2021 we spread the joyous message of Jesus' resurrection through baking cookies that represent Jesus’ story. Watch the video! The stop motion paper and cookies was really fun to make!
I conceptualized an Easter campaign that utilized cookies as the medium. The campaign revolved around themes of the Christian faith such as the cross, crown of thorns, palm, light, dove, and tomb. I opted for a neutral color palette that would complement the subject matter. To make the project even more engaging, I experimented with food typography and stop-motion animation techniques. Overall, this Easter campaign was not only engaging but also helped to reinforce the significance of the holiday in a creative way.
